#lifehack for podcasters and coaches

Picture this. You’re standing in line at Target, casually reading the headlines about Harry, Meghan, and the latest royal drama, when your phone dings.

It’s a text message that says:

Hey there hot stuff! You’re interviewing Jennifer today in one hour at 3:45 pm.  She’s a tarot-reading sex therapist that sees auras. She’s ready to talk about clearing our energy to reclaim our sexual power. You can find her on Instagram at …

You’d totally spaced on this appointment when you left the house to run errands but thankfully you can make it back in time!

the battle for attention

In today's fast-paced world, it can be challenging to keep track of all the appointments and commitments we have. Whether it's a podcast guest or a coaching client, missing an appointment can be frustrating and costly. Lucky for all our ADHD brains,  there’s an easy way to automate these reminders and keep us on track.

you’ve always got it with you

One of the easiest ways to stay on top of your schedule is to get a text before appointments on your calendar. This simple automation can save time, reduce stress, and improve productivity. In the guide below, I’ll walk you through how to set up this automation using Google Calendar and Zapier.

when you’re away from your desk

As a podcaster or a coach with a busy schedule, you’ve got appointments on your calendar at various times throughout the week. You’re typically not  sitting in front of your computer all the time, so you need a reminder that will reach you wherever you are.

Also, life is busy - so not only is a text message reminder great, having the guests’ answers to intake questions show up right on your phone is like next level. With one (or many!) text  you can make sure you're prepared and on time!

put it on auto-pilot

To set up this automation, you'll need a Google Calendar account and a Zapier account. Zapier is a web-based automation platform that connects different apps and services, making it easy to automate repetitive tasks. This simple 2-step “Zap” will run through their free plan!
