Challenging the Status Quo

I'm so excited to introduce you to our guest Erica Gregory. After her second child was born Erica decided she was not going back to her corporate marketing job and made the leap to entrepreneurship without a plan.

Her tenacity and instincts paid off and now after successfully creating her own social media agency Erica has found her groove as a 6 figure online business coach. Listen in as we chat about her path to coaching, how she got started from scratch and the mindset work she had to do to achieve the results in her business today.

Some of the key takeaways from this episode include:

1. Realize what feels right - There can be a lot of societal expectations of what success means, and you know when something is off balance.

2. Life happens. Don't miss it - Stuck in a car, stuck in a chair. It's the opposite of freedom and control of your time to experience life.

3. You are not irreplaceable - We often invest more of ourselves into a company than they invest in us, and because you work hard, you feel vital to the company's success and feel like you can't be replaced...But nothing could be further from the truth.

4. Breaking the corporate habit - Moving from corporate doesn't mean it's easy to leave the antiquated 9 to 5 structure behind. Allow yourself time and grace to restructure your work life the way you want it to be.

5. Lean into your new endeavor, and take action - You may not always have a clear plan as you forge your new path. But get your ideas and information out there and connect with people everywhere you can, and things begin to fall into place.

6. Challenge your money beliefs - What if we shook off the mindset of "the more time you spend working, the more money you make?" And instead focused on the amount of time spent doing things we love and making an impact is what makes us more money.

7. It's a journey - You may see entrepreneurs who are very successful and wonder why you aren't at a higher level. What you don't always see is the time, effort, and ups and downs along their path. Use it to inspire yourself on your journey - and be patient

8. Feeling the energy - Letting the universe and its energy guide your personal development brings focus and calm that you may have never experienced before, and using aspects of both masculine and feminine energy can bring a perfect balance to your performance.
